About me, and an FAQ
Chris Reddie is a Canadian based sculpter, painter, and maker.
He uses Digital as well as physical tools to create his work (No AI though!) He is a horror artist, a science fiction artist, and he dabbles in other genres as well.
Chris comes from a long line of artists, he is the grand son of BJ Reddie, Staff artist at the Canadian Army journal. The nephew of Erin-Blythe Reddie
Chris has been fully involved in a lifetime of learning art, he studied illustration through Algonquin college in Ottawa, Canada. He has taken online classes with the Gnomon workshop, and has delved deep into self directed learning through various teachers and online resources.

1. What tools do you use to make your sculptures
- Blender: Modeling, Rendering
- Maya/3DsMax: Modeling, Rendering, Hair
- Zbrush: Sculpting
- Marmoset Toolbag: Renders
- Prusa Mark 3s+: Printing
- Reality Capture: 3d scanning
- Affinity Studio: Photo Finishing
- Affinity Cavalry: Motion design
- Gaea: Terrain
- Acrylic paints, Wood Filler, Spray primer, Bondo, and a variety of other tools for final products
- Tin cure silicone and resin. Preferably Smooth on for moulds
2. Where should I start if I want to sculpt?
Anatomy, composition, and colour theory. It's a really long road, and hard to do but it pays dividends and you can't avoid it. It's better to get into it early so you can play more.
3. Can you teach me?
I'm not a great teacher but feel free to reach out and I can see what I can do to help
4. Do you take commissions?
I do, get a hold of me to talk prices and feasability. I can be very picky on the projects I take.
5. How do you come up with your horrific ideas?
